This week we have been selecting some spooky maps to have on the server for a
halloween night
The new maps will be split between 2 part map packs and will be online before 7pm

WKD joins anti-cheater campaign

This week we have added a new server scanner to watch for several cheating methods. We will be following this scan with more anti-cheat programs to keep the server as free and fair as possible for all decent players and members alike. Also importantly we have teamed up with SteamBans which is a web-wide collaborative which shares a cheater black list with all participating servers. And we also have the choice to submit suspect players for professional scrutiny and web-wide banning if they have it coming.

Redhaze Returns

You will all be aware that two months ago Redhaze sadly had to step down from the clan.
Well I'm pleased to let everyone know that project 'Get Red Back' has been successful and we now have him locked in a small room with only a PC and CSS to occupy him. Through electro aversion therapy we expect Red to be back on the server and back with the clan for a long time to come.

Senior Member/ New Server Admin

Due to a clan leader ruling:
WKD . UK . Maff
has been promoted to Senior clan member level with effect from this coming clan night.
Also due to recent server activity we have decided that a new admin is needed to support the current set up. We have decided that Maff is the best suited to fulfil this role and we all hope you welcome him in the role and congratulate him in this promotion.

Important Changes to the Clan

Important Changes have been decided on by the Clan Leaders myself and Shadez and the new changes can be found outlined for you in the forum under Clan Member Info and Announcements.
Also please read the new revised Clan Member Code of Conduct and the Discipline System for breaches of the clan rules and how it affects you.
In light of continued clan growth and added responsibility and mounting costs of new features to keep clan WKD the coolest clan server around we have begun to talk about changes to the clan membership for the benefit of the Clan as a whole.
Please would all full clan members read the post in the forums
there is a link in -Recent Articles- to the lower right of this news item.
These changes are still subject to change until May 08 when the web site will feature the full rules and terms of WKD Clan Membership, in a NEW Members only area.
New Maps on the Server

There will be a clan vote to decide which if the new maps will become regular maps on our server-check the forum for the vote soon.
The maps we are considering are the ones included in the WKD Map Pack 2
Check out the downloads section to get hold of all the maps featured so you don't have to wait when the fun is on for a map to download from the server which is much slower.
In addition to the download section maps I will also place a link here soon with all of the maps in two downloadable zip files so you can set it going leave them and install everything in one go!
All clan members are required to have the maps hosted on our server.

Theme Night

Next week we will be holding a Xmas theme night on your favorite server, the night will only feature winter/xmas theme maps to get you all in the seasonal swing of things.
The Night is planned to be Wednesday the 19th and the maps will also feature on Xmas Eve and Christmas Day.
